Deborah Ahenkorah Co-founder and Executive Director
Imagine you could revolutionize literature for African children and young adults by co-founding and heading an organisation that led to the creation of more than 850 children’s stories? You would have to spend a day as Deborah Ahenkorah. Before Deborah began Golden Baobab, she founded Project Educate in Africa to support schools and libraries across Africa. She studied political science at Bryn Mawr College and pursued her passion for global issues by working with the European Union Parliament and The Global Fund for Children. She has been recently named by the Echoing Green Fellowship as one of twenty-two of the most “game changing social innovators in the world today.” In 2011, Playing for Change identified her as one of Ghana’s leading social entrepreneurs working to make the world a better place for children and youth. She is also a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum. | |

Now, as a consultant in New York, he tackles design from various angles with networks such as Business Networking International. He believes design is becoming an increasingly integral part of our everyday lives, and works to combine experts across several capacities, resulting in a unique design perspective.
